We are nearing the end of the season, which has come earlier this year due to drought conditions.

Our avocados are now quite mature and have a higher oil content, which intensifies the flavour but also means they ripen more quickly.  

Care needs to be taken to eat them before they get too ripe - they will now be ripe before turned completely black and when just starting to soften.  

For this reason, we are not sending mixed boxes with pre-ripened fruit for the rest of the season.
